bamboo mobiles for the nursery

Crib mobiles can be overly cute, especially if they’re matched to the bedding theme. Just seems to tip it over the “too much” edge for me.

But not these bamboo mobiles for the nursery. They’re modern in style but with a vintage twist and are perfect simplicity. The best thing is the wood tones can work with any color scheme you like, even the deluxe versions with the touches of color, like the transportation themed one in the picture here. It’s actually the only one of the deluxe versions I’ve seen that has more than one color. Most of the time you get to choose between a red or blue design.

I’ve found the biggest selection over at Layla Grace, although there was a cute fish onethat I’ve only seen at giggle. The majority of choices are more like the forest animals shown here with warm wood tones and no colors. The deluxe versions with color run $66, the regular $56.

Themes run from the two you see here to elephants, birds, owls, whales and a few others.

They’re laser cut from sustainably harvested bamboo (yea for green living!) and are just 1/8? thick. The set includes the pieces, hanging rod and clear thread. Some assembly required on your part. (But you can do it!)
